Manufacturing Process
Tubes are manufactured from Mild Steel Strips slitted from HR Coils conforming to IS: 10748/IS:2062. The strip passes through a series of driven forming rolls and is given the desired circular shape and is longitudinally welded by the passage of an electric current having an approx. frequency of 4,50,000 cycles/second (HFIW Process).

After the excess weld bead has been removed from inside as well outsides, the pipe passes through a set of sizing rolls where it is rolled to the correct outside diameter. Thereafter, each and every tube/pipe is cut into required length by automatic cutting machines.

quality After rolling, deburring of each and every tube/pipe is done on automatic end facing machines followed by hydrostatic testing of every pipe/tube at 50kg/cm sq. or more as required by customers specification.

Quality Assurance :

These pipes/tubes are then threaded, socketed, paint stenciled and bundled before being cleared for dispatch after pre-dispatch inspection.

A well equipped laboratory is maintained in-house for analyzing Chemical and Mechanical properties right from raw material to fininshed product with the help of sophisticated equipments. During the entire manufacturing process quality is checked & maintained by following a systematic Scheme of Testing & Inspection(STI) at every stage with the help of calibrated sophisticated machines e.g.
